Whether producing goods or consuming them, people generate waste. Lots of it. Millions of tons of trash are discarded in the U.S. each year. Managing, recycling, and disposing of it has become an increasingly sophisticated—and profitable—business. To implement their ambitious growth strategies, environmental services companies need loans, and Bodman’s clients are ready to lend.
“Some of our banking clients have established a national business of making loans to environmental services companies,” says Larry Shulman, a senior member in the firm’s Banking Practice Group. “Structuring and documenting loans to environmental services businesses has become a specialty area for Bodman. We handle the transactions efficiently because we know the industry inside and out.”
